For people who do not enjoy having any weight convering their bodies while sleeping, this is ideal. This VELLUX blanket is the best thing I had discovered years ago. I was happy to learn that this product is still available. It has warmth but not the weight of other materials. It is easy to handle and launders beautifully. C.G. Burns
Mom loved this. The only complaint is that after about a year, the blanket loses small patches and exposes the center strings. I have purchased several in the past in burgundy and rose. They are warm despite being so thin; perfect for spring and fall. Once this happens the patches just get larger and larger. They are great blankets for the price, but be prepared to replace them after about 1-2 years.
BUT I STILL USE IT DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS WHEN I HAVE THE A/C ON. HOT OR COLD, THIS BLANKIE WORKS. ESPECIALLY GREAT DURING THE COLD MONTHS. IT FEELS LIKE SECOND SKIN. SO SMOOTH AND SOFT.
I have always been fond of Vellux blankets.The quality is good,they are lightweight,good for summer and winter.But the current one I purchased is not really as good as the old one I feel.Not as soft.
The blanket that I ordered was the quality that I expected and the color as well. Its on my bed and I love it.
